Ahmad Abdul Bari, 64, (Bari Mian) hailing from one of the oldest families of the subcontinent (Ulama-e-Firangi Mahal, Lucknow) is a seasoned entrepreneur having dabbled in trading, real estate, travel, software and petroleum globally.

He 'tasted blood' working with Saudi Conglomerate Zainal Alireza & Co. in the 70's and has never looked back since.

Shahab brings with him 35 years of insurance industry experience. He started his career at commercial union plc in 1988.
He has held senior management positions in Adamjee Insurance Co., Jubilee General Insurance, PICIC and EFU General.
Besides, managing overall operations, he has also assisted in business development.

Ahmed Salahuddin, a Mariner, MBA, ACII, Associate in Claims, nearing 3 decades in the industry has had an illustrious career rising from Adamjee Insurance's head of Hull Portfolio, to assume the position of the Country Manager, Guardian Royal Exchange Assurance. He also incubated a new company PICIC Insurance and was the founding Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the entity for a decade. Presently he is working as head of International TPA Development at Manhattan Data Inc.

Having handled large infrastructure projects in the power, chemical, transportation, port terminals from inception to completion - including re-insurance placement both locally as well as in the international market he too is tailor-made to serve at the board here - the knowledge of insurance having been consumed by him the way he is subsumed by sufi music, poetry and literature.

Bringing on board over 3 decades of experience, the Bachelor in Arts is a technical man through and through having started from the Re-Insurance Department at Khyber Insurance (as a clerk) he rose through various departments of the insurance moving through all classes of underwriting and claims as well as client services looking after giant clients that saw him as an Executive Vice President - Heading the Jinnah Division at EFU.

Before he joined Excel Consulting (Private) Limited as Executive Director Operations, in over the two decades at EFU he handled major key-accounts such as OMV Pakistan, Liberty Power Tech, Karachi International Container Terminal, South Asia Pakistan Terminal, Kirthar Pakistan, China Harbour Engineering Co. etc.

The right man for insurance brokerage Razzak adds to the table technical expertise as well as client relationships in mega-projects and infrastructure that are crucial to the trade.

Orchestrating all financial matters at Excel Consulting (Private) Limited, Khalid has years of experience under his belt in the insurance industry started his career at Unique Insurance Brokers - Marsh's local correspondent in Pakistan. Khalid's experience is very well rounded over all spheres of industry here in Pakistan particularly a not-too-brief sojourn in the retail sector hitting an international chain (Debenhams as a Finance Officer) first and moving up to one of the largest retail stores in Pakistan - Farid's spread over 45,000 square feet as the GR Manager eventually ensuring implementation of policies on the floor too.

Life coming back full-circle, destiny saw him back in the throngs of the Insurance Broking Industry, this time at Excel Consulting representing Willis Tower Watson, where he is a key-player in day-to-day operations and all matters financial.
